helloo. oh my gosh, yesterday was one of the best ever this year. went town with everyone to celebrate daryl's birthday, had a spanking good time.hahha. 
daryl's present from us. got up early and met yinglun at 10.30, we took the train to plaza sing. met daryl there at 11.30 plus and went to the cathay to get tickets for zodiac. reuben got off his 190 and followed us to cine after that to meet with the rest.

daryl, both in the foreground and the background.hahha. anyway, shawn and tingsoon were waiting at cine already at around 12.15. so we went inside suki for the buffet, yinglun's idea. junjie came like 15mins late or something, he was still on the bus when we went in. yeah had a whole lot of food.mostly quantity, though the service really sucks.they took damn long to deliver our orders, even forgetting some of them.that's really bad i think.

from far. anyway, we settled our bill and left after around 2 hours plus inside suki. so we took 174 to paradiz for lan gaming. everyone played counterstrike except for me.i wanted to play tiberium wars cos it was damn nice. anyway, after that the counterstrike gang broke up.junjie shawn and birthday boy played fifa while yinglun, tingsoon and reuben joined me in tiberium warring. it was reuben and me against yinglun and tingsoon.the matches played were pretty interesting, can't wait to play again together sometime.hahha. lan costed me 5.50 for two and a half hours.pretty cheap i guess for a weekend. tingsoon and junjie went off after lan as they weren't catching zodiac with us. then daryl, yinglun, reuben, shawn and i ran to the cathay from paradiz as there was like only 5minutes left before the movie started. hahha, at least we had the forseight to buy the tickets first. we managed to find some time to get yinglun's usual super large popcorn! hahha.daryl and shawn bought smaller versions while i got a drink from yinglun and many tiny portions of popcorn from daryl and yinglun too.hahha. 
yinglun's(on the left) owned daryl's.hahha. anyway, zodiac totally rocked.it was just simply the best movie this year.well at least that's what i think. zodiac has a great plot, excellent cast(though they are relatively unknown) the dialogue's pretty steep as well, so you've really got to listen carefully for the whole 157 mins or so.yeah. 
the ending of the movie was apt, though i expected an alternative. anyway, we were stumped on what to do after the movie.yeah hmm spent quite sometime at adidas at the cathay looking around, maybe i should have bought something? oh yeah, just remebered shawn's belt and my tee were both from the same brand, flesh imp.yeah. so we headed to plaza sing next door to look for food, but we couldn't seem to find anything nice. 
there was this energizer bunny at the ground floor.we all laughed caused it was totally tingsoon! we all wanted to punch it or something.yeah hahha. i suggested getting out of plaza sing cos it was really boring. so at first, we were like gonna walk down the orchard road stretch, but shawn suddenly suggested going to clarke quay.we thought it was a great idea, so we did just that and took the train down. heh, it was the first time i went to clarke quay with friends. the place is really great, though it's really kinda weird being so young. 
someone was having a pirate party or somekind. there's a jack sparrow amongst them.hahha. shawn met his sister at clarke quay.it was her birthday as well, she's 18, so she can officially go out.quite unfair huh. 
the audio house shop, i still remeber it's advertisement on tv during the previous world cup, so damn funnny.

and then there was this bayang restuarant, i thought it was boyang. now it was yinglun's turn to suggest something, and he suggested walking to marina square.of course we agreed! hahha, had hell lot of fun walking there.it was the climax of the day. shows how close we are.a group of best friends, team-mates and great pals! 7,8,9,10,11 jerseys for slayers.it just fits so well!! hahha.

11 i really loved the company of my 4 close friends, love the chatting, love the lame jokes and the presence.we shall remain together and not drift apart and forget about each other when we graduate. the scenery along the esplanade was really beautiful.with the cranes for the upcoming ndp, the propose street circuit for F1, the many couples there and of course a particular underpass. the underpass had a group of buskers singing, so shawn and i wanted them to sing daryl and birthday song and we'll pay them.but in the end daryl was kinda shy, so yeah. hahha. we went to look for our dinner at marina square at like 11 plus? yeah. yinglun wanted carl's junior, but the prices felt expecially ex, coming after a buffet, so we had burger king instead.my double whopper was enormous anyway. 
random pic.hahha. we tookaway our burgers and all and sat on the steps outside marina square facing the esplanade. had a great time chatting about the flops of jersey number 7 and other stuff.hahha. 
my burger was as big as daryl's head.hahha. sadly, there had to be an end to the fantastic day, so we parted ways with shawn after dinner, who walked all the way back to clarke quay to look for his sister.but he left his glasses with yinglun.hahha daryl, reuben, yinglun and i took 960 home. daryl got off at bugis to change mrt back to tampines.lonely journey for him.yeah, rueben got off at bukitpanjang while yinglun and i reached yewmei at around 1 plus. yeah. yesterday was just the best damn thing, |
